  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Setting Up Audio In Camera -- PLEASE HELP

Just got my Red One. I'm wanting to record some audio in-camera as a test. I have a Senn ME66 shotgun plugged in to the audio 1 port. I've been in the menus and have searched online but I can't find any guide to how I can do it. I am unable to hear anything with my headphones.

I'm sure it's super easy, I'm just unfamiliar with the menu and what boxes to check.

Please help -- no idea what else to do.

Check your manual (30.5.0),
Page 59 - 63

Video =>Audio Ch 1/2/3/4 = Microphone
System => Sound => REC Enable = check Channel 1/2/3/4
System => Sound => 48v Mic = check Channel 1/2/3/4
 
not sure if it has been updated, but if you have an iphone or ipod touch the Clifton DIT app has a searchable menu of the Red One. Has made my life as I learn this camera much easier to get around the menu structure.
