Embedded Time Code to Slate

Howdy Folks-

This may be a weird question for those of you in the know, but I gotta' ask.

Is it possible to read the Time Code that is embedded in the HD-SDI signal with a Time Code slate?

Guess I should have done more research. The answer is no.

Linear Time Code is not the what is embedded in HD-SDI. Got my answer from Denecke

You could conceivably build a chain of converters to get LTC out of HDSDI but you're better off just running the TC the other way, I think.
