What do I need to author and burn simple play only blue Ray projects? I read toast can handle this? What is the workflow and least expensive way to get into burning bluesy projects?

Easy--Final Cut Pro 7 can do this from the timeline. Just add a Blu-ray burner.

Just burned a 90-minute BR disc this morning and it was easy. Took a long time to encode from the ProRes, but was otherwise a simple process.

The discs I used this morning we're DL. Worked fine.

Yeah it works- assuming you have the burner. The authoring is fairly limited though. Basically videos and very simple menus.

If you need more, get Encore.
But for most of us it should be fine, if you just need screeners. Very easy to use, thank you, Apple – even if Steve is declaring Blu-ray as dead…
