Shot some outdoor footage on a reasonably sunny day, using the histogram to set exposure with no red highlight bar showing. When the footage comes into colour the waveform shows clipping at about 88 percent on all shots. If it was overexposed I thought it would clip at 100 percent.
Am I wrong or doing something wrong?

ISO set to 200 and the set to 400 during shoot.

You are correct in RedX no clipping, the images don't show much contrast though.

Why iso 200, faster clipping, sensor at best wide range is iso 800

200 iso was from the day before. normally use 320 do you think I should be using 800 on that kind of day.

Thanks Paul
