Zeiss CP.2 Prime set Rental for RED One

Does anyone know where you can rent these lenses? I've found them on Lensrentals.com and they are very reasonably priced- however, they are booked solid until October (for good reason). Need to rent the set in 2 weeks. Anyone have any ideas or have a personal set they'd be willing to rent me? I like the idea of the PL and EOS mount on the cine glass as I'll be shooting 7D and Red One.

Hi Jon,
We have a full set of 7 CP2 primes in PL mount. We are waiting for the EF mount but it won't be a quick change mount. That would make it hard to use on a shoot where you are wanting to use the one set of lenses between two cameras that have different mounts like a Red in PL and your 7D in EF. What would be great is if Zeiss would change the way they are designing the mounts to where there could be a quick change mount. I have talked to an individual who is trying to come up with this very idea. Let us know if we can help you out.

I was actually told that Zeiss is going to sell a mount change kit. Not sure if that was confirmed yet. Regardless, how much would you charge for a weekend rental? Are you guys willing to ship?

You can use a PL to EOS adapter that I made and no need to swap mount on lenses. My PL2EOS adapter has also built in support and carry handle. It mounts quickly on any Canon camera-5 seconds with no tools needed.
