On-lining in AVID MC 4

Hey all,

I'm using MC 4 with the redrocket. I've got my footage into the AVID editing suite via conversion to DNXHD 36, and am well on my way to start editing.

What I don not know though, is how to go back to the red for online. I;ve read several posts on exporting an EDL but nothing beyond "export to edl and then uprez".

I'm more than likely going to go to an AVID DS NITRIS system for online.

Can anyone point me in the direction of clarity?

If you're going from Media Composer to DS Nitris, it should be super easy.

Talk to the finishing house and ask them what they need. But basically they should be able to open your bins.
