James Bond: The New Endangered Species

This is quite sad to me, as one who has quite enjoyed the refreshed Bond. Hopefully things will get cleared up one way or another, both for the sake of those involved in the productions and the fans in the theaters.

How about getting a TALENTED DIRECTOR to helm a Bond pic? That is the one thing that could really help get Bond back into his prime.

Sad, but this shows that even the biggest boys need to deal with the reality of the hard facts, and MGM, had been looking at this for quite some time, one of the reason back when we did Sirens of TI shoot, we lost every chance to work with MGM/Mirage, they cut off every form of possible marketing and kept digging the hole bigger and bigger with City Center, and got in the hole even more after Bank of Dubai, dig them out, which in turn Abu Dabi had to dig Dubai out of the hole, and form their Real Estate failures, comes the suffering of the Movie part of their business, very sad in deed.

It's dead. You've already seen the last movie with Daniel Craig as James Bond. Look for a whole new reboot in a handful of years. This whole reboot thing Hollywood has been doing for the past decade or so is getting really tiring...

Batman's reboot was needed. I'm not sure they can improve on Spiderman. Daniel Craig is a great Bond. He looks like Ex-SAS. Although nobody beats Sean. Ever.

thats too bad i really liked Craig as Bond ...

Casino Royale was an amazing movie .. I dont believe I have seen any other movie that allowed the character to evolve into becoming a legend ..

It really explained why Bond acts like he does.

Mendes is perfect.
Marc Forster was a "good director" as well, but I thought Quantum of Solace was terrible. Being a good director doesn't necessarily make one a good choice for an action film.

The closest to an action film I've seen from Mendes was Road to Perdition, and that is far, far, far from an action film.

Maybe if the next Bond film were going to be a more low-key, realistic spy story, but that isn't really what Bond is about.
