Absolutely LOVED the way Star Trek looked. My wife's a Trekkie and I'm not but I sat in the cinema and oohed and aahed at the images. She thought I was getting into the story until she noticed me going "YEAH!" at moments when nothing was happening plot-wise:emote_popcorn: Flare me baby!

Interesting the kinds of names who are taking up the Red. Guys with style, who push the boundaries, to whom the image is paramount. One could have expected the revolution to have been driven from the bottom up - low budget guys with no choice but to risk it all on the unknown digital monster (and there are plenty of us). But the guys at the top end who are embracing this thing are not the kind of people who accept compromise. These are guys who demand (and can demand) the best images possible and they're seeing the value in this little home-grown camera that sells at a fraction of the price of the big boys.

Anyone reading this thread who thinks us all fanboys because we applaud these little milestones should understand that we, the believers, take the involvement of these top-flight image makers as confirmation that we were right all along. It also lends the odd bulldozer to our efforts at knocking down walls with our little hammers.
