  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

"98% of ALL cameras and ALL lenses are better than 99% of ALL photographers!"

I love the Lensbaby add right next to the article. Obsess about backfocus, contrast, and resolution then throw one of these on.

But isn't this true of a lot of technology? Take modern cars and sport bikes for example. Don't know too many people that can ride a modern super sport motorcycle or drive a ZR-1 Vette to the vehicles designed limits. Or, how many people have truly mastered the computer/software they use every day? And who has really figured out how to program a VCR? (Yes I said VCR - lol).

Thanks Denis...

"98% of ALL cameras and ALL lenses are better than 99% of ALL photographers! Yes, VERY, VERY rarely, a camera may ship with extremely minor faults. It may even back focus by 1/10th of a millimeter. But even if it didn’t the chances are that it wouldn’t help your photography. Most photographers simply aren’t good enough to take advantage of a perfectly functioning camera."

BahAHAHAHAHHA!

Fantastic. Half my photo gear has rubber glued back on. Still works great.

I have a hasselblad with so many cosmetic problems its worthless on todays film-flat market. Still takes the best pictures.

This is why I use an old canon power shot. I figure if I can't shoot anything half decent on that, why bother?

Obviously the author of the article never used a Canon 1D mk III or their 50mm F1.2.
