  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

R3D Clips not playing smooth & shows error in Render

Yesterday I got series of clips which doesn't playback after couple of seconds and only audio is audible in playback and picture freezes. Try to render it in Red Cine-X 247 / 246 / 221 and only screen filled with green picture with only audio is playing in my quicktimes.

Even my RedCine-X screens looks blank in the bin window. Attached screnshot with metadata in the picture.

Anyidea Red Team?

I had similar problems. Sounds like corrupt frames. Have a look at the threads I started regarding this issue. Kind of fix for me was to let it transcode around the corrupt frames with a Redrocket
