Buying Red One with M-X

Hello.

Due to the "very special" sales procedure of RED I like to ask if it is possible to buy a new Red One with Mysterium-X already equipped?

Is there a possibility to do and to avoid these "send in" Trade in" "send back" get something" way?

AFAIK that will only be an option once all current cameras out in the wild have had the opportunity to upgrade.

Alex, as Raul said..

You can buy an R1 today, but will have to wait to be MX upgraded till all current R1 Owner have a shot on upgrading theirs, only then you will receive the email from Red, which will let you know that your R1 Serial No. is now up for MX upgrade, in which time and only then after making full payment for the MX upgrade, you will be given an RMA from Red in order to allow you to send back the R1 for the MX upgrade.

But I see Red moving extremely fast on the MX upgrades, but with possible five thousands R1's to be still upgraded could take several months to get a New R1 MX upgraded, possibly taking you till early next year.

Why not just buy a used Red One that already has the MX sensor upgrade?
