I don't seem to have the option of transcoding to ProRess 4444 in my version of RedcineX b246. I saw it on my buddies computer. I have Quicktime Pro but I don't have Final Cut. Is there a workaround? Sorry about the double post.

Have your buddy email you the codec (quicktime component)

The ProRes codecs are unique to FCS installations. But the codec lives in harddrive>Library>QuickTime on his system and should go in the same place on yours. A technical breach of the license agreement but I don't think anyone cares. It's called AppleProResCodec.component
