Well-recognized Film Schools?

[Harrison Hui]

Hello!

I was wondering if any of you could share which university in America you think has a decent film degree?

I'm currently studying in Singapore but would like to plan for my future!

Thanks!

[Michael Althaus]

Chapman, USC, NYU, AFI, UCLA... just to name some of the top schools....

[Steve Das]

Also look into Brooks Institute in CA...think it used to be only still photography..
and was well know for that..but they now also have regular film production.

[Brandon Fraley]

CalArts too. I think there's an impressive school in Singapore if Im not mistaken.

[Andrew Rieger]

The Art Center in Pasadena. It is more known for its commercial and music video work but it is a good program in a great location. I wanted to go there for transportation design but it is almost impossible to get in and then I got into film. Zack Synder, Tarsem Singh and Michael Bay went there.

Here's hoping someone will mention Sheridan College as well recognized.....
