  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

who delivered your allstar mount?

this is a question for those who purchased an allstar mount...

I got a tracking number for ipost? ems tracking service? im guessing a tawain postal service...

anyways i tracked the shipping to LAX it cleared customs a few days ago.. and on my tracking page it says delivered.. however I never got a delivery..

wondering if that means it was delivered to a US service like ups or fedex..

I dont know how to get my tracking for those companies.. I was expecting it either tuesday yesterday or today.. and still nothing...

kinda concerned as I need the mount asap...

anyone have ideas?
 
Now you drive up there. Fed ex did that to me with a set of Ziess speeds. Threw the case over the fence of the wrong address.
 
Yeah, UPS delivered a Mac Pro and 30" cinema Display to the wrong address. Was supposed to be signed for, but they left it on the porch of a house on a street with a similar name but other side of town.

I had called UPS when I saw online that it had been "delivered". Short version of the story is after they were convinced that it wasn't delivered to me at the correct address they got in touch with the driver who figured out where it was dropped off.

I actually drove there to find that the family had just got home and had brought it inside. Again, short version, after the homeowner called UPS and I showed them my drivers license for picture ID and my address, and to show that the package that was in name, I got my stuff.

UPS at first was very slow in seeing the implications of the problem. It was only after I pointed out that it was delivered without a signature (with some anger added by me for dramatic effect) that the representative began being more constructively helpful.

Wasted half my day with this.

Glad you found your Allstar stuff. I'm thinking about getting this mount but the only thing that is holding me back is the same mount on Epic and a Canon mount that can be controlled through the camera. But I think I'm going to have to break down and get the mount anyways because I hate switching mounts on my RED MX, which I plan to keep for a while.
 
Im keeping my MX.. and ill have an epic..

so this was a no brainer for me..

I hate switching mounts every other day..
My projects I use my ZF's...

alot of other projects if they rent my stuff go PL...

so this thing saves me
 
Well I just sent Allstar an email with all the things I need so hopefully this can get started quickly. Sounds like the guy is kind of busy right now with doing his service. Hopefully he'll get to me soon.
 
Hes busy.. but honestly.. I paid him last tues.. and (in theory should have got the package on tues), but the post office screwed that up...

it was a really quick transaction.. and this mount is really really cool...
