Now that we covered to death the topic of the best shot... do you have a favorite seduction scene which is purely or almost purely visual?

"No way out" limo scene comes immediately to mind...

Good shooting and best regards,

Leo

This one is going to take a lot of thought.

An entire film doesn't count, or I'd say pretty much all of 9 1/2 weeks.

The Sharon Stone comes immediately to mind, (You know the one.) though I don't think it's my favorite.

I'm certain to come up with more.

I was actually thinking more about self contained scenes in which two characters meet for the first time and seduce one the other, or each other, with little or not dialogue.

I know, those don't qualify. It's just hard to think of seduction without those coming up.

I working on a better answer. :-)

Soderbergh's "Out of Sight" with Jennifer Lopez & George Clooney.

Besieged

I think this film only has about 52 lines of dialog.

lots of these types of non spoken scenes.

David

THis might sound nots but 8-mile had a pretty good non spoken scene too.

Yes I remember the 8 mile scene! Good one.

Ah, just thought of another one, not a first time meeting, but very powerful; "Body Heat;" the chair thrown through the glass doors. Wow.

Good shooting and best regards,

Leo

One of my favourite seduction scenes is in Chabrol's Les Biche, at the beginning when she first picks her up and takes her to her apartment.

An anti-seduction sequence is the first time in the apartment in Last Tango in Paris.

The 'love scene' in Bladerunner...is superb but it is not a seduction but it is a complex emotional interaction.

Depending on your take on the entire film...Last year at Marienbad could be construed as one big seduction.

The bodyheat scene is superb, nice one!

Three Bertolucci films so far.

OK.

Eyes wide shut.
-The dance scene at the party
-Tom and Nicole at home getting high
-Tom at the hooker's place
