I have in the past year gone through two monitor mounts - the red one and then a transvideo mount.

I simply refuse to pay another $200 on this mount as it is clearly prone to breaking.

After surfing for a while I can't seem to find a useful alternative. Does anyone use or know of any other kind of lcd mount for on camera use that is compatible with the red lcd???

Love this one . . .

Love this one . . .

I might sell these in the future.

Best LCD mount - one hand positioning, place it anywhere in an instant. Pops apart for quick removal.

What do you guys think about this...
You can get it in different lenghts and strenghts.
I know it as microphone mounts, but after a bit of googleing I found one for cameras up to 500g. It's about 50 €.

But isn't the Microphone mount the same size as a monitor mount?
This would even be cheaper
about 30€ with clamp useful to attach to rods or handle
Would this work?

look at ultralight arms as well.
