Anyone know of any good tripod hard case that ideally has wheels integrated? We have a Ronford Tube but it's in such a bad shape that we'd like to replace it.

Any suggestions?

Buy a well made hard shell Golf Club case. Many are made stronger and better than tripod cases and I have one that has been all over europe and US. A few companies offer lifetime warranties on locks and hatches.
good luck

Abel offers Tuffpak tripod tubes in various sizes, including models with wheels. They are as close to an industry standard as you'll get.

Depending what you want. I found all standard stuff rubbish for my use, sorry Mitch :)

The best I found so far is an Ocean Designs weapons bag. It is light weight, tuff as nails and you can put it on the bottom of the ocean. It has backpack-type straps to carry on your back...and it is affordable. It is padded and will protect the tripod inside.

Disclosure: I'm a good friend with the distributor.

Let me know if you want one or a group buy :)

Yeah that military stuff is a bit too high tech for me :)

thanks for the suggestions, tuffpaks are really expensive, especially the one I'm looking at has a pricetag of over 500 euro which is 700 usd :) - the golf cases look good though, maybe would rather give those a try...

cheers

I love my tuffpack with wheels!!!! and I have 2 others. The Tuffpack is by far the best I have seen/used.

It is several years old and still working perfect!
