Just a question as to how it works...do you need adapters for each PL mount and Nikon lens, or is it a quick change between lenses?

I don't know about the PL mount, but for Nikon and Contax it is a relatively speedy change between lenses. Though in the long term I would recommend an adapter for each lens, or at least each of your favorite ones.

For PL theres a mount adaptor that fits in to the A mount on the camera, very quick to fit. less than 10 seconds Id say.

For the record I want to say that Tom of ALLSTAR products is amazing to deal with, was very professional and the product is first rate. everything was delivered when he said it would arrive and the product is really well made.

I can see why RED approved it so quickly.

Basically, I have so many Nikon lenses that it makes most sense to (at this point) stick with the Nikon mount I have (unless someone wants to buy it from me for $350) and swap out the PL mount for PL shoots.

ALLSTAR offers a PL adaptor which costs $260 dollars so you can easily swap between nikon and PL mount glass.
