  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

FS: Cooke 15-40 CXX Zoom

$40,000 for a single used lens! I thought only Zeiss Master Primes were that pricey. I'm sure it's a reasonable asking price, just didn't realize a single lens could cost that much. I've heard of prime sets costing over $150k but that's still usually less than $30k a lens right?

Just curious, what is the most requested zoom lens on feature rentals? Is the most requested/rented also the very best zoom lens ever made or is there another?

$60,750 + all the "accessories" you need to rent one= $65k :)

((interesting how the U.S. price went up due to the dollars weakness, but it never came back down as the dollar improved.))

Guess your right once you add some accessories (Carry Handle, Motor Bracket Kit, Lens Support, Iris Rods, ect.).
I was just referencing what I sell them for NEW w/Custom Flight Case.
 
That's a good price! I paid $45,000 new for mine three years ago and it's gone up a bit since. If I only needed two... ;)

Every time I see this lens it makes me want it even more. Hopefully it finds a good home.
 
Hmmmm...How much can one get for a limb these days? I'm thinking of selling.
 
What's attractive about this lens versus the optimos is the speed and legendary Cooke look. I'd be curious though as to what the widest focal length possible without vignetting on the Epic ...
