METAFUSE 2.1.1 changing settings?

With Metafuse 2.1.1 all R3D's are detected as 10 bit and allow transcode to uncompressed or DNxHD 175 how can I change that to transcode DNxHD 36 for offline. (not one by one).

Hi Ido,

I believe you have to change the 10-bit setting. Check out your format settings where it says, for example, "1080 23.98p 10-bit," in the drop down menu, change that to just "1080 23.98p." Then below it, for compression settings, you should be able to select DNxHD 36, etc.

I figured that out but can not seem to implement the settings to all clips at once.

Doing it manually for over 150 clips was not fun at all.


Any solution?

You can do more than one clip at a time. Need to select all, apply settings to the first clip via the details pane, hit "enter" via the keypad and values are applied to all.

The next version has the "settings" revamped to make this easier. MetaFuze has been a command line type transcoder to which a GUI was attached. Some of the GUI reflects how the command language works, so it is has not the most obvious and intuitive.

If so when do you think it should arrive.
