I was watching the conclusion and I don't have really anything to say because as he says it's more a matter of who the shooter is and wants and every pros and cons he lists are what they are and either you're fine with them or not BUT ONE THING TRIGGERS ME : he says the fact that when there's a temperature change or you change framerate or whatever you have to do a sensor calibration on Komodo is a con... BUT YOU SHOULD DO THAT ON EVERY CAMERA !!!!!!!!!!!

This shows the the low light capabilities of the Komodo with just the illumination from the fire.

I think this video shows how well the Komodo looks at night when the scene has the appropriate amount of lighting.

I like the look of the Canon FD lenses in this one even though it looks like the video was a little over sharpened.

This video shows how well the Komodo looks in available lighting, even though it might have been supplemented with some additional fill lightning.

Besides for the obvious reasons, it really does show how far Red cameras have come from dealing with mixed lighting and especially those fluorescent colored lighting. I remember seeing how the Red Helium responded in a similar lighting situation, well.........

    Thanks :)

    Bastien,

But I think he says that about the black shading to those individuals , unlike yourself, who are absolute newbies to the Red ecosystem whom won't know to do that. They might consider that an added maybe even an unnecessary cost of time in order to work with Red Cameras.
