If using the expander module and WC RF to PL adapter and want to use a support for the PL mount adapter (if using a heavy lens), what’s the best way to get 15mm rods (LW spacing) on there for that and maintain correct distance from the lens for a rail mounted matte box and follow focus as well. Finding this all tricky...

I think Shape has something using the RED expansion module.

Thanks, but you haven’t tested for lens height and room for pl mount support?

Maybe that block above the 15mm rail section can be removed if you're using the RED expansion module?

Looks like it, judging by the extra pics on that page (that includes pics of the RED expander module) - https://www.shapewlb.com/shape-red-k...ght-baseplate/

Shape (and other manufacturers) also do rod-mounted lens supports that could be used in conjunction with the WC RF/PL adapter (which includes a foot with 1/4-20 threaded hole) - https://www.shapewlb.com/camera-lens-support/

The hole on the WC RF/PL adapter looks like its far enough forward to fit a rod-mounted support in front of the camera.

You can get different lengths for the vertical support rod as well if it needs extra reach.

Oh yeah it shows the expander instead of their riser plate in there, perfect. Curious if any others makes (other than Shape) something like this?

Doh! Didn't realize that was the expander. Ok this is likely what I'll pick up.
