Red MX holds up quite well against the Ursa for a 10 year old sensor design. Ursa obviously has more DR, but with optimal exposure Red is more than a match for overall image IQ.

It would be more accurate to compare the cameras matched to the same exposure value and white balance on an 18% gray chart with +/- EV changes taken from that. The Red is consistently overexposed by at least one stop throughout this test compared to the URSA. Same ISO settings on different cameras produce different middle gray values and DR distribution between highlight and shadow according to the manufacturer's calibration. There is no universal standard for DR distribution around middle gray at reference ISO.

Did you use IPP2 color science to process the RED footage? Makes a huge difference.
