The same thing is happening with our s35. I have black-shaded 4 times and even on the factory shade, it shows up. When I go to an old shade the line is gone. I have updated the firmware but still no luck.

That doesn’t look like the same issue as the OP, although I have seen this same line you are getting Kyle during in-camera media playback on my Helium- but it isn’t actually recorded into the clips when viewed on desktop. Could you confirm if this screen grab is from in-camera or from RCX, etc? It may help to keep the thread clearer.

    Thanks,

I'm having the same issue with the helium sensor in my Epic-W. at 8K there's a line of dead pixels on the right frame side which is recorded on the footage as well.
When the sensor is cropped to 6K its gone but the camera is unusable in 8K anymore. Sometimes after blackshading the line goes away but then reapers again after a few minutes of shooting or turning the camera on and off a couple of times.

here's a video of the issue:

I spoke to RED customer service after sending them the log file and they said its definitely a sensor/ hardware issue but the repair costs outweigh the value of the camera by now unfortunately. Case for the insurance and patiently waiting for DSMC 3 :/
