Default Cooke 9-50 what it looks like and how it performs

I've got a few PM's about shooting with my Cooke 9-50 Zoom so I wanted to start a thread devoted to that specific lens and how it performs... I's encourage anyone with the lens or rents the lens to post grabs and details.

Just got the backup HD in the mail so here's a Still frame from a video I DOP'd in OK City... it's actually a fight scene... I like it because it shows dark and light skin with highlights

First time out with the lens on a "real" project. I was really pleased with the results at all ends of the lends.

Cppke 9-50 Zoom
Focal Length 35mm
Metered T4 at ASA320 Shot at T4
2k on Build 20

Yeah, I hung on to mine all these years because it's a personal favorite.
NO breathing, good close focus, sharp enough, and kind to faces. All the hallmarks of a Cooke lens.
It covers fine in 2K. I posted some stills early on when I first got my camera... but I did a search and could not find that post.
But sadly, I have not used it much on my Red. Perhaps it would be a good 2/3" Scarlet lens...
Cheers,
Harry
