we will have an x-sync (pc) port.. which you can drive pocket-wizards from directly or via a xsync to hotshoe adapter
( isn't it so convenient that those hot shoe adapter have 1/4 20 screw holes and we have a nice row of 1/4 20"s on top of the brains :) ) |

Hey Jarred any idea on the flash sync speed. Please continue to put the beat down on the comp and go 1/500 at least. That would huge.

500 sync speed would be one of those little features that would put DSMC in a class with Hasselblad and Mamiya medium format cameras (which all sync @ 500). |

That sounds great. Better start selling off the old and getting ready for the new.

Hassys that sync at 1/500 is the old ones which are hardly usefull for modern comercial studios as the tolerances are not good enough for critical focusing after some use. MHO. |

you need to look at the whole system and not just the limitations of leaf or focal shutters .. The original Pocket wizards have a hard time past 1/250th of a second.. the new ones with Hypersync (which i havn't used yet) are supposed to solve that issue.
