    An exerpt from FilmLight announcement:
"A major benefit of Baselight One is it's ability to work directly with native raw footage, with or without optional 3rd party decoding accelerator hardware"

I miss using Baselight. The need to get that plugin into Adobe-land.

Can you name a package that NEEDS a Red Rocket to decode R3Ds?

You really don't know or you just kidding?
We are talking full resolution real time decoding without RR here in a standard package!

Four years ago I paid $250,000 for a system, that was way less capable.

Jake, BL has always been able to work with red footage natively without the need of a RR card. We happen to have two on the system and they do speed up thing considerably.

But I dont think the new BL1 is capable of decoding red footage in realtime in its highest resolutions, specially EPIC stuff. Hopefully ill be proven wrong.

They are coming out with a new BL1 that doesnt include storage, this new system is supposed to be cheaper.
