I am into 2K Digital Cinema mastering for a year, my judgment is from various high end DI work that I have run across.

I have ordered 2 camera, cos I am always want to position into Stereoscopic vision options.
I do not have a serial number yet.

I also order for a 18 to 50 Zoom plus some others.
Now is to await to test the FCPro 6 wokflow, which we are now working to get the upgrade done.

    How are you all..
Heard Derek, our DoP from Hong Kong based in LA have ordered 3?
Nice to meet you in LA, Derek, and sorry to delaid your shooting trip up north.

all the best to u all

    Percy,

Sony Big Cheese has requested me not to do Shoot - out in HK because he knows .....

Nowaday, Indies have their own Post Houses to make their 4K distribution.

Do you have any comments on F23 ? You are the big fans of SONY over the years right ?

Did you guys know RED will develop their own 4K projectors and displays soon, do we really need a BLACK BOX type of Post house here in HKG ?

The rent of space in HKG is Fxxking expensive, and I hope to give Directors / DOPs more options to play that they can afford rather they can not afford to pay just because the quality is " Overpaid " but not last for longer.

4K to 1080P is becoming " REAL ", Mr.Peter Jackson did it for himself, and if you go HD from now on, to me - JVC HD Cameras + Primes Lenses recorded onto Disk ( uncompressed ) is supervalue than Soon Only Not Yet
with only in 8 bit 3:1:1 on Tape.

Film is Film, HD is HD, and 4K is a " New Blood " to make the D-film world change not just a little bit but .................time will tell.

Many 4K D-Films / Concerts / Events are cooking Not just here, but there and everywhere.

    Hi Percy,

I didn't see you message until today (over a month later). I was so glad to see you guys in LA. You know the old Chinese saying...When an old friend comes to visit from afar, one can't be happier. That's exactly how I felt.

    Good luck your ventures.

    See you next time.

RED we should talk...I'm currently in the process of getting funding for a multiplex Digital Cinema Theatre that supports 4k. Looking to build this in the east coast first.

Anyone interested for more details should private message me.

    Cheers,

    Peter
