Hi, I'm hoping someone can assist me with an issue on my 50mm 1.7 lens. Recently I've noticed the top part of the lens, (the part with the filter threads and where the writing "Planar 1,7/50" is) is coming a bit loose and is rattling. I cannot see any screws where I can do some tightening, so I'm totally in the dark on how to fix this. Has anyone dealt with this issue? I appreciate any assistance.reduser 50.jpg

The name plate threads in like a lens filter. You need a rubber tool for it. You can make your own with a rubber stopper that you carve out the middle to clear the front element, like the guy in the video did.

Thanks Aaron. I didn't realize the plate threads in like a filter, but it makes sense. I'll try to make a rubber stopper similar to the one in the video.

I've got the following I'm either looking to swap for AE versions of the 18mm and 50mm (ideally cinemoded already)

I am curious as to why you want the AE over the MM. For the "ninja-star"?
