Red mag not mounting to computer

I never ended up sending mine in, I probably should. I just use it for blackshades and storing camera settings now.

media manager said the mag unmounted itself several times during the offload. Almost everything was copied. But now it won't mount at all. Any ideas on a fix? I'll take it back to the camera tomorrow and see if it plays on there.

Im having a problema with my red mag 1.8. its turning on but not reading the cards. a Friend borrowed me another red mag and it works with my cards. i have a shooting on the weekend so im pretty worried about that.

Camera sees it, and records/plays with it just fine, but my computer will not mount it.

I have 6 other cards with sizes 64, 128, and 240 that work just fine.

Anyone have any ideas?

I don't know the details, but someone had some luck using red undead to get footage off of my troublesome mag.

Solved my issue!

For anyone on windows, what was happening for me was that at a hardware level the computer was seeing the hardware itself.

It showed on the "safely remove hardware" icon as the 128gb OEM mass storage device

I could also see it under "computer management" > "disk management"

What I did was click "Change drive letters and paths"

Then i assigned it a free drive letter (in my case the "L" drive)

The ssd instantly popped up, and I am copying the files right now, along with praising God!

I hope this helps anyone with a windows based pc
