What I found on the scarlet:
I was hoping for 3K 50p/25p HDRX here in PAL land. But instead of giving us this frame it even takes away one if I'm not completely mistaken:
If lookaround is turned OFF for example I get only 29fps max. in 4K modes same in other modes, there's 1 frame less max speed in almost all modes. Am I correct? Anyone else found this?
If lookaround is ON there's no problem, but no higher framerates than before the update.

So maybe this is why 29.97 is missing and 28.97 shows up (and in varispeed mode)... Thre only frame rate I can achieve that's not varispeed is 23.96.

Reg. the Nikon mount: Will there be more lenses added in the future? Like my workhorse 17-35mm? Or rare beauties like the 135mm AF DC?

What happens when I use other lenses not on the list? I dont think I can calibrate myself, right?

    All the best,

    Jochen

    LOL!!!

I have been asking for this feature every time there is an upgrade (for about a year so far....)

And also the promised "1080P (scaled from full frame) at 1-60fps".

And exposures longer than 1 second.

Without these features, unfortunately my Red Epic sits on the shelf for 90% of the jobs I would love to be able to use it for.

No sign of any of these yet...

Pre Recording would be great and will help to sell Epics for the documentary market.

    Jarred, Trent,

Any news on a "flip" option for the RED LCDs? We'd like to know before our next monitor purchase. Thanks

It worked great for the first few shoots. Last Night, One in every 5 to 10 shots got corrupted. Recording everything would seem fine but when I went to playback. I got a horrible stuttering glitch type effect constant throughout the clip. Happened throughout the shoot. I went and put the release build on my camera and so far everything is back to normal but I'm continuing to test....
