Camera movement in the woods

Hi guys,

I'm planning on shooting in the woods soon for a few days. I was wondering if anybody had any essential tips or advice on critical gear for camera movements. I'm thinking that having a jib would pretty much cover me on short tracking and slider movements. Is there a compact solution to doing long tracking shots other than using a steadycam? <- like a skater platform which will support the Scarlet and that works on tubes you can lay down.

just used this on a shoot. Awesome. throw down some 6 foot levels on apple boxes and you are good to go. Also runs on ladders or pretty much anything.

I must say for the price... The Dana dolly can't be beat! I cut my own rails to 5' and 8' along with rolling combo stands.. Perfect combination for the dolly!
