OK, SO we had our Mac Pro connected to our RED Rocket card in a MAXX mobile box and after less than an hour REDCine Pro X started to show horrible day-glow lines at the bottom of the preview screen.
About ten minutes later, the software started crashing everytime we tried to either play or export a clip.
When we powered down and started to do the normal "reseat and check cables" routine, I noticed that the MAXX cable at the Mac Pro end was blazing HOT.
The machines are now powered down, unplugged in their open-air , very chilly edit bay, so no probs with the machines being overheated.
Any sage advice or next steps to trouble-shoot to get our system back up would be SO helpful!!!
