    I'm sure I'm skipping a step:

    -Footage shot in 5K 16x9 (4800x2700)
-I'm doing a custom crop in to 1920x1080

When I export to ProRes 4444 1920x1080 I just get the original shot re-sized from 4800x2700 to 1920x1080 not the cropped 1920x1080 piece of the the 4800x2700 frame.
    What am I missing?

Crop / fit etc is in the bottom right corner... in export you set only the final size.

I am using the framing tools to do the 1920x1080 crop from the 4800x2700 frame. I want to export the extraction to a 1920x1080 ProRes4444 clip to use in FCP but I am getting the full 4800x2700 frame REDUCED to 1920x1080 instead of the EXTRACTED 1920x1080.

Appears to have been a version 15 problem. I dumped 15 and reloaded 14 and now it works fine.

    I'm hoping you reported it.

I was going to say that you could use "framing" and then just apply it to whatever clips you want cropped in.

I may just need to re-install 15. No time right now but once I get through this project with version 14 I will re-install 15 and see if the issue is still there. If so, I will report it.

Looks like that specific source resolution is missing from the source resolution settings on the framing controls. For now set it to custom and you should be good.

    Thanks,

Yeah I tried that but every time I would go to apply or preview the custom crop would change back to a bizarre size.
