Wes, I've got a wild stab in the dark for you. Do you think the issues I'm experiencing might have been caused by this chain of events:
1) Install Premiere Pro 6.0.0 when RED Rocket has driver 1.4.19 installed
2) Update Premiere Pro to 6.0.1
3) Update RED Rocket driver to 1.4.27
4) Run Premiere Pro 6.0.1
What do you think?
Another Reduser was experiencing issues with RED Rocket and Premiere Pro and posted about it on another thread. Wes Howell replied in the thread:
I tested this a moment ago - and it appears to have solved the problem!Originally Posted by Wes Howell

Exited Source Settings and pressed Space: clip began playing in Program Monitor very nice and smooth.
Desktop monitoring gadgets reported this during playback:
CPU 8%
GTX 580 18%
GTX 460 8%
I'll do some more testing but at the moment it looks like the problem's been licked. Thanks, Wes!
I'm having issues with not seeing REDcolor3 and REDgamma3 and I have the latest version of Premiere and I d/led the latest RED Epic Importer here: http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/redepic_importer.html
Still no luck... What is the relevant directory where I need to copy those files to?
Thanks Matt!
I'm on a PC, so for those who need a quick answer to my situation, I found the installation documentation here: http://labsdownload.adobe.com/pub/la...nstall_cs6.pdf
Basically, you need to copy & replace the two files into these directories:
Premiere Pro on Windows:
ImporterREDServer.exe
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro CS6\32
ImporterRED.prm
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro CS6\Plug-*‐ins\Common
Uh oh I spoke too soon.. Everything was working fine until I exited the program and re-launched. Now, none of my r3d files are playing back - they're all stuck on Media Pending and I can't play anything, all I hear is audio. I tried starting a new project with new imports with no luck. Any ideas?
Yep, that work. I re-installed Premiere, then re-installed red importer. All is good.
Welp, spoke too soon. Premiere stopped using Rocket and the trick described above is not helping. Something else is afoot.
