Is it possible to have the Scarlet record all files in one directory instead of each file in it's own directory?

I think that would "break" a few things in the RED workflow.

I use AFX and it takes me time to go to each directory and import all files one by one. I take lots of 5-10 second shots so you can imagine after few hrs of shooting how many files I need to import one by one.

If you are on mac you can easily do a search on your source folder in the finder looking for 001.r3d then drag and drop everything into AE. Same thing must be doable on PC too but not sure how...

Got it, thanks! I had to go down and press the button "Import Folder", worked fine fine fine! I tried to just drag/drop the folder but it did not work.. I guess pc's still learning from Macs..

Ken, you asked this question a few days back over in the Scarlet forum. The answer remains the same: if you alter the folder structure that software is expecting to receive, things break. The folder structure of a Red mag is set up the way that it is for a number of reasons. If you alter that folder structure, you will only break parts of the workflow. There are reasons that the camera does not give you this option. Nor should it.
