    Hey Guys,

I have a project coming up and need to shoot a timelapse of a cityscape. I wonder if anyone has any thoughts or suggestions on how to shoot it as I have never shot one before? Notes on exposure? Thoughts on framerates? Any tips or tricks? Whatever anyone could give me would be much appreciated.

    Cheers, Tom

the first tip, if you're going to use a red, is to make sure you're using a red one and not an epic or scarlet.... unless red releases proper timelapse support in new firmware between now and your shoot.

Depending on what and when you are shooting, you will have more control (for timelapse) on a dslr with an intervalometer. It can surely be done with Red but you will be limited in slower shutter speeds.
