    Hey guys,

Going to be filming in a nightclub with our EPIC-X pretty soon. I guess it's just going to be the dancefloor lights and some ambient lights scattered around but apart from that, pretty dark.

Just wondered if anyone else has done anything similar who could fire some tips my way to achieve the best images and keeping noise to a minimum.

    Thanks in adavnce!

I shot in a location just like this. If you are stuck with the light that is there then use Neat Video for noise reduction as needed. You can download a chart to shoot to use to get a good noise profile: http://www.neatimage.com/testtarget.html

Our Kickstarter campaign was a Staff Pick! We were also Featured on Kickstarter's home page and we won Indiewire's Project of the Week with over 70% of the total votes. Our campaign was very successful. The fundraising continues.

Brandon, is the custom profile you create by shooting this that much better than the one auto-generated by Neat video?

Haze up the room. Will bring up the light levels and it works for a club atmosphere.

I agree with Marc here, I shot a club scene last week and did a similar thing... turned out fine

I think that you have shot already. Take a close look at the Leica 0.95 AKA night vision 4 your next similar project. A killer. Kubrick would LOVE it.

Damian, we shot in a dive bar in Brooklyn for THIS VIDEO. To get exposure we shot on Super Speeds, hazed up the room, and backlit the space. Came out great. Alex Baev our DP did an amazing job.

Good luck on your project. Sounds like fun already!
