I would definitely try to get a Scarlet or Epic as a B-Cam. You will save yourself in the end.

I have seen footage of RED and 5Ds, and 7Ds, cut together and you can definitely tell the difference.

Im sure you can find someone who is willing to whore their Scarlet out for 200 a day.

Yes, that's our big hope, but as this is a micro-mini budget, whoring will certaonly be the order of the day. Even for pizza.

We will be shooting late Fall in NY, and I so want to get the Fall color in there, and use the best posssible cameras to make it as intense as possible. Maybe for the untrained eye it would go unoticed, but I don't want to go there if at all possible.

Alex, we are shooting a feature out in New Mexico until end of oct, but will be back in NYC for Nov. I would like to get some more info and perhaps donate our scarlet and any other resources we may be able to help out with on this.

    That would be excellent!

My next book will be about how to make a feature film for 10,000 or less. Subtitled Beg, Borrow and Steal.

We have our hog bike already, a great candidate for lead and first supporting, locations, etc. Coming together bits at a time. This is a deeply personal story, so I'm being a wipe when it comes to details and changing the script.
