In my humble opinion, the RED ONE in your picture sits too tall on one's shoulder. I prefer to have the camera lower...almost at shoulder's length. Now on the DSLR picture it sits perfectly flush with one's shoulder.

I saw your picture and I also saw the video and it seems to me that in both you have you head cocked to the left...pulling away from the rig. Is the rig to wide on the shoulders for one to comfortably have their head straight the whole time?

I would get a neck strain if I were standing in that position for hours.

One thing I love is the design. My main beef with rigs is that most seem to lack any design element at all...just a couple of clamps and rods

HI Coco, actually I have worked with other rigs where the camera sat up on a brigde-plate and a dove tail... its hard to configure a rig with a camera so bulky... but from personal experience I would rather it sits up like a full bodied camera like a Sony f900 than support the full weight of the camera for only a few minutes at a time. Its true in both pictures they are looking off to one side. One of the nice things about this rig is its how many adjustments to individualize each setup... thank you for your feed back, I read and understand everything you guys tell me. That's kinda why I got this far...

What shoulder mount are you using on the Epic?

I use my cinemecanix Pro-rig, due to the fact I can mount any camera I want and be fully balanced...

The Zacuto scorpion is 14 lbs and the C1 pro-Rig is only 12lbs...

I weighted the easy rig and your carrying close to 17 pounds... the C1 Pro-Rig is all aluminium and only weights 12 lbs
