    I am saddened to report that the remarkable human being and extraordinary filmmaker Chris Marker recently died one day after his 91st birthday.

    I echo David's ssentiments. A remarkable innovator and pioneer who advanced the language of cinema. Many who don't even know who he is, would be surprised at how much we all owe to him.
