Now I am the first to say i'm sure it's garbage because it's coming from ebay and it's so cheap... but this doesn't look half bad! thoughts...?

I have this follow focus. Its not bad. a step up from the really crappy one i had. Its pretty decent. Kinda clunky sometimes. But its well worth the money. But hard to beat a nice follow focus. This one is cool though with hard stops. Im not disappointed at all for what i paid for it.
I too have it -- it's not a professional tool, but for the price it's not bad at all. If you're using it on still lenses, it will work and the hard stops are handy. On actual cinema lenses, I'd pass. The tie-down levers on the articulated adjustment arm are the weak point. Definitely geared toward the DSLR market.
Hi Ian, I am selling a cinevate Durus if you are interested in a good deal on a simple follow focus. 19 and 15 mm rail arms for it; just thought I would share. PM me if interested, thanks!
I have a super cheap pro aim one, and i am having no regrets... 15mm, Low slip (super low slip) and when i asked how to tighten the screws, the seller sent me a new one (i have no idea why)
Super good for about $260
despite their ebay-ness, trusmt is a pretty solid brand. they used to be the manufacturer for a particular company that i shall not name, and then they broke off and started making and selling the products themselves. everything is the exact spec as the american company they used to manufacture for.
I really like trusMT, good products, solid build. virtually no backlash
I had one of these...that arm won't lock tight enough - I had to sell it. The follow focus itself is great, no backlash, hardstops, but that arm will not keep the FF in place on the lens.
