This is an Orchid Marshall converter. It converts HDMI and HDSDI both ways. When you have an HDSDI signal, it has an HDMI output and an HDSDI output as well. When you have an HDMI signal, it will give you an HDSDI and HDMI output.
At BH it sels for $840. this unit has the optional 4 Pin XLR power worth $35.00

Answering a common question, the top 4 pin XLR can be changed out for a battery plate, available at BH.
