When you adjust your clips in Redcine-X Pro and reopen Premiere Pro, you may have noticed that these adjustments aren’t instantly updated. Within Premiere Pro, you have to right-click each RED .R3D file and select “Source Settings” then click on “Reload from RMD”. You may think that you can select multiple clips before selecting "Source Settings" to batch reload within Premiere, but it suffers from a bug. All RED .R3D clips are reloaded with the RMD info from the first file selected. There is no way within Premiere to refresh all your files at once which, for 100+ clips, can be a daunting task.

I’ve created a utility that removes all Premiere Pro adjustments. This utility forces Premiere Pro to reload the current RMD settings for every RED .R3D file in the project.

This may also be useful since you can export an XML from Premiere, load it into Redcine-X, colorgrade, and then use the utility. You avoid the slight hassle of reimporting and relinking the project that Redcine-X generated and you avoid the transitions and effects that get stripped during the XML process.

    Windows and Mac versions available.

November 21st, 2012: v0.9.5 - Misc bug fixes. Corrected issue on Mac with saved file not using Premiere’s file icon.
October 14th, 2012: v0.9.4 - Corrected bug when encountering dynamically linked After Effects assets.
September 9th, 2012: v0.9.3 - Major bug fix, increased speed, and added progress bar to avoid user confusion.

Excellent Angelo! I've put in numerous feature requests to Adobe for being able to do something like this in the past. Thanks for taking the initiative :)

While the RMD does not refresh automatically in CS6 it is possible to batch update an entire folder worth of clips at once. By shift selecting multiple clips then choosing Reload from RMD, all selected clips will be affected. Is this the function you were looking for?

I've experienced bugs when using ctrl+click (windows) to randomly select R3D files then right clicked > Source Settings > Reload from RMD and it will apply the RMD file from the first selected file to all of the selected files rather than resetting each file to it's own RMD. So what you mention doesn't work 100% of the time as intended.

The utility is more fool-proof and saves time on really large projects.
