If I send it by UPS, I think it arrives within a week. That is how it is from U.S. to Japan.

Don't quite understand - how can it be a dumb mount and still operate with an Impero?

dumb version just doesn't have electric lens information comparing to inteligent version.
So there are ports and bluthooth circuitly in the bumb version of the Birger.

Sorry, I have to correct you. This is not a dumb mount.

AFAIK, Birger made two versions of their Birger mount, a dumb one and a "smart" one. A dumb mount would come without electronics and act just as a mechanical adaptor. Very few of those were made, and only by request. The electronic version was/is much more popular, as it allows for electronic control of all the lens' functions; aperture, focus and zoom (of course only on lenses that have the built in electronics and motors.)

$600 is a very good deal, and Kaku is an active member on reduser. Just one shot where you need remote focus might pay for it.
