Wow this looks like a great movie!
Oh and yes, this looks fantastically fucking amazing.
That trailer just blew my mind. Consider me stoked.
As ever, looks like great filmmaking. Some old "why are we here, what's it all about, do I matter?" ideas being presented here. Let's hope it's filled with
some strong resonant ideas. Actually, the trailer seems a little too sappy for me.
Looks very ambitious, can be a masterpiece or a complete disaster. A movie definitely done by bold filmmakers. I respect that and will probably see it. But its an incredible feat if they pull this off without being pretentious or confusing in the final outcome of the film. So far I've enjoyed most of their films, so am looking forward to see this. THe release date also reveals a certain confidence on this being Oscar material... Let's wait and see...
Ah I see. Now that we all know the answers to these boring questions, we should only make movies about more relevant questions, like what David? How to survive in a broken econony? How to throw a party with 3000 people? Personally, I think deep questions are timeless and always hold power when presented well.
Sorry, I'm hoping to not come off as condecending...your post just kind of made me laugh and invoked my inner snark.
I've read Cloud Atlas and am very curious to see what these good filmmakers can do with its complexities. I thought the trailer was fantastic.
