Thanks for sharing - I really enjoyed this; it was unsettling, creepy and compelling. Very original too, unlike anything I've seen..... congratulations

    Good on y'a!
You finally made it to the end.
Congrat, the 10 mn time goes pretty fast.
While watching it I had one regret,
I would have prefer a voice over in Norvegian language with English subtitles.
Anyway, as I already told you before, really good narrative work .
I really enjoy your adult fairy tale and its horny zombies.

Edit: I forgot that one ,wich is important, nice sound track Mr Groven, Hé hé back to the roots.

Definitely material for the RED 2013 NAB reel :-) A bit creepy to be sure, but a nice piece nonetheless!

Good cinema brands her images into the skull, if your goal was to have the kid in the field and the eager faces holding twigs haunting us for a few days, you've succeeded.

The black and white treatment is fantastic across the board. Especially the kid walking through the field towards the sanctuary--was that really Red footage?

I second the idea of a different voiceover. If this were an average or mediocre movie it would be fine. But the current read doesn't really live up to the text and the images, I think this is one area that could separate the film from a pack of submissions at a festival...

Best of luck with it. Also thank you for keeping the "owner" of the sanctuary completely absent, brilliant choice there.

    Hello Gunleik,

    Thanks for sharing.

    Well, it's definitely a European film. ;)
And quite R Rated. And the best bit is that it is an ART film. Great title....make it a feature. $$$

I really liked the Fairy Tale aspect of the film and felt that the B&W cinematography was a great choice.
If it were in color it would be even more disturbing to watch.

My question to you is, do YOU find the film disturbing?

    ;)

    Thanks all!

    @ Martin
I can make it a feature, if I have the funding...

Contact me offlist with the funding, and that is doable... :)

So... Do I find it disturbing...?

    There are two interconnected themes.

    Abuse/Confusion

Accepting preconceived solutions to get access to peace.
"If you only do as I tell you, everything will be fine"

And I find both those themes disturbing...
But not the film discussing them, though

It is meant to depict the disturbance abuse and preconceived "general" solutions to individual problems rises in me...

So in that aspect, the disturbingness of the film, is intended, and of course I go for images that rises that disturbance/awareness in me.

    HM

Dunno if that was an answer.

    But I tried...

    Thanks!

    Great answer Gunleik!

And you should be very proud of your Art, especially when cinema is, for the most part, commerce.
