I'm trying to install the latest Red Rocket drivers on my Mac Mini (mid 2011, latest OS X Release) for use with a Sonnet Echo Express Pro, but my system won't recognize that there are any PCI cards installed.
I have two RED Rocket cards that do work in Mac Pro tower. I have tried both in the enclosure, and have yet to get them working. I have tried the driver install pkg numerous times. I hit the, "Shutdown" button, and the computer shuts down. If I have the enclosure plugged in via Thunderbolt, the computer hangs on boot (only after the pkg install, not on a second restart). If the enclosure is unplugged from the computer after the install, the computer starts fine. When I check system profiler, I see that the computer recognizes the Echo Pro, but not the Red Rocket. I have no other cards installed in the chassis.
Is there a way to check if the driver has installed correctly?
I have filed a support ticket already.
