Now we have to determine why the speed is in the range of USB2. So it comes down to cables, device compatibility, and a few other factors. Just because a device is "USB 3.0" that doesn't automatically make it fast.

Now we have to determine why the speed is in the range of USB2. So it comes down to cables, device compatibility, and a few other factors. Just because a device is "USB 3.0" that doesn't automatically make it fast.
Copying from a USB3 device to a HDD is about 100MB/sec. But the other way round... from HDD onto the USB3 device: 40-60mb/sec. Tested with different cables, a dicking station and a 2,5" USB3 hdd.
