i just bought my scarlet and have used it for the second time yesterday nad noticed in my OLED viewfinder 2 small red spots - could these be blown pixels? if so is there a way to remedy it myself? any other clues what these may be..?

Are they present in the recorded image and/or on a different monitor? What do they do when you change from full view to 1:1 zoom? If they're on the sensor, a black-shade will probably address the issue. If they're stuck pixels in the EVF, I'm not sure how RED would proceed with that. I have developed a couple stuck pixels on one of my 5" touch LCDs and it seems that what I have is still within acceptable parameters. :/

Determine where the pixel problem is (within the camera/sensor or within the EVF), then contact your bomb squad rep and ask how to proceed.

now i look more closely there are actually 4 of them looking like a small constellation! - they are not showing up on the recorded footage and are still there when i go into 1:1 zoom, so it would seem to be a viewfinder thing - will be getting onto red europe in the morning - thanks Jeff

I have one "blown" dead pixel on my used twice OLED EVF as well. Doesn't show up on footage.
